The American Red Cross makes CPR certification fast, simple and easy. And with Red Cross Digital Certificates you'll get anytime, anywhere access to your certificates; plus the ability to print, share, and download them wherever and whenever you like. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. Class participants and employers can visit redcross.org/confirm and enter the ID found on the digital certificate (or scan the QR code with a standard QR reader using a smart device) to access a copy of the valid certificate with student training information.

We all take measures to prevent injuries, but accidents happen.  How prepared are you to deal with medical emergencies at your job, school or home?  Comprehensive and practical Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED​ ​training can give you the critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency quickly and calmly, until emergency medical services can be accessed or emergency medical personnel arrive at the scene.

​Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED​ ​Skills Session Description

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Skills Session program is to: Help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. Teach participants the information and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person. Teach participants how to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Safeguard CPR is a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross and offers the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Skills Session. The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Skills Session format is ideal for participants looking to maximize learning and productivity at the same time, its self-paced and the training can be completed at your own speed. The online and classroom training option provides greater convenience and the content is equivalent to a traditional course with less time spent in a classroom. Once you have completed the online portion, print your online completion confirmation and bring it to your classroom skills session. If you are unable to print the online completion confirmation, we suggest you use your cell phone camera to take a picture of the screen display for proof that you completed the online portion. The Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Skills Session incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
